A: The functionality and the maps of Europe are the same on both units, but the “I’d be lost without you” edition has been designed for the woman market. The special edition TomTom Start comes with a red rear cover and an exclusive protective case.
Q: How old are the maps on the TomTom Start range?
A: As with all new TomTom devices the TomTom Start range feature a latest map guarantee, which will qualify you for a free map update if a newer version is released within 30 days of your purchase. Simply plug your TomTom satnav into your computer and synchronize the device with TomTom home.
Q: Who is the TomTom Start designed for?
A: The TomTom Start is the entry level TomTom satnav with fewer features than the TomTom ONE, XL and GO LIVE series. However don’t think for one second the TomTom Start is a low end GPS because it’s still packed with features ideal for the majority of drivers.
Meanwhile the simplified menu on the TomTom Start makes this device ideal for the occasional gadget user, while the latest map guarantee, TomTom Mapshare and IQ Routes will make the driving experience safe and enjoyable.
