As part of TomTom’s ‘Future proof’ products, you can now buy a TomTom GO 520, but upgrade it to all the functionality of a TomTom GO 530 for free. This not only includes the latest maps available through TomTom HOME service, but software upgrades too - such as IQ routes and advanced lane guidance. So essentially, with a little bit of upgrade time, you can have a TomTom GO 530 for the price of a GO 520! Check out the GO 520 now at Amazon for just £133.99, a full £46 cheaper than the GO 530.

Great TomTom deal! Aesthetically the GO 530 looks much better with its gloss finish, but its definitely not worth losiing out on the £46 of savings.

What’s the better deal the Comet TomTom ONE or this GO 520 deal? I’m looking for something that will last a few years.

Depends realy.
If you want a simple satnav that will fit in your pocket and get you to your destiantion, then go for the TomTom ONE V4 deal.
If you want a satnav that has a bigger screen, some handy driving aids that will help along your journey and get you to your destination then chose the TomTom GO 520 deal.
Personally i’d chose the TomTom ONE V4 because of its size and simplicity.

You can get a TomTom GO 920T from dixons today for £199.99 and from what this post is suggesting you can make it into a GO 930T by conecting it to TomTom Home. Sweet deal!
