TomTom now offer Top Gear Magazine’s favourite routes for download from their website – www.tomtomgreatestroutes.com. You just download the routes onto your TomTom device and then set off to enjoy spectacular scenery in over 39 locations. It’s not just a Sunday drive, however, as each route guarantees a serious workout for your vehicle, with an abundance of tight corners, stunning views and open roads.
The routes include Italy’s Stelvio pass (the second highest mountain road in the Alps at 2,575 metres), Ireland’s West Coast, or Spain’s El Burgo to Coin route which requires ‘expert’ capabilities. The routes are available free of charge and can be downloaded right now from the TomTom site. There are also options to create and share more routes.
